40 days - 40 bridges!

In Isaiah I had read, "This is fasting, how I love to break every yoke, to give out your bread to the hungry and not to deprive your people!" God wants just and honest relationships, it occurred to me. So Lent gave me the idea to live, pray and contact one person in particular on each day of the 40 days. I had told this idea to a student in the Czech Republic. On her birthday she called me full of joy: "Yesterday I was with my spiritual director. We were talking about Lent. I told him about the idea of the 40 bridges. He was all excited and decided to do the same for his life!" Further, I read in Isaiah, "Then when you call, the Lord will answer you!" I felt God at work.
