„Gott macht sich auf die Socken!“ - "God is on the move!"

In der Zeitung hatte sie von der Aktion „Gott macht sich auf die Socken!“ gelesen. Es wurden Strickerinnen für Mini-Socken gesucht, die mit einem Bonbon und einem Gruß versehen, den Bewohner*Innen eines Altenzentrums zum Weihnachtsfest geschenkt werden sollten. Diese Idee hatte sie sofort an ihrer Oma in der Nachbarstadt weitergegeben. Diese war ebenfalls von der Idee so begeistert, dass sie gleich 10 Söckchen gestrickt hat und nun noch weiterstrickt, um diese kleinen Geschenke auch an Menschen in ihrer Umgebung zu verschenken. Liebe ist eben nicht zu bremsen!

She had read in the newspaper about the action "God is on the move!” They were looking for knitters for mini-socks, which were to be provided with a candy and a greeting to be given to the residents of a center for old people for Christmas. She immediately passed on this idea to her grandmother in the neighbouring town.
