Bleib stehen! - Stop!

Vor einer Praxis sah ich eine ältere Frau stehen. Sie hatte an der Tür geschellt und wartete. Ich hatte sie schon von weitem gesehen. Nach längerem Warten ging sie. Als ich vor der Praxis-Tür vorbei ging, hörte ich, dass gerade in diesem Moment der Tür-Öffner – sehr zeitverzögert – betätigt wurde. Ich blieb stehen und rief der Frau zu. Sie hörte nicht. So lief ich zu ihr, um ihr die Information zu geben, dass die Tür nun geöffnet sei. Ganz erstaunt schaute sie mich an und sagte: „Das ist aber nett, dass Sie mir das sagen! Das geschieht mir nicht oft!“ Schmunzelnd standen wir noch einen Augenblick beieinander. Dann gingen wir unserer Wege.

In front of a practice I saw an elderly woman standing. She had rung the doorbell and was waiting. I had seen her from a long distance. After waiting for a long time she left. As I passed in front of the practice door, I heard that just at that moment the door opener was activated - very delayed. I stopped and called out to the woman. She did not hear. So I ran to her to give her the information that the door was now open. She looked at me in amazement and said: "How nice of you to tell me that! That doesn't happen to me often!" With a smile we stood together for a moment. Then we went on on our ways.
