United in pain!

"My sister is ill, that's why she couldn't come as an altar girl today!" I heard a girl saying before Mass. After the service, I carefully asked if the illness was more serious. "Yes, she always has a terrible headache. That's why she had to go to hospital for a few days. Hopefully she can go home soon!" I was moved by these words. When I woke up the next morning, I had the sick girl in my heart. How could I let her feel that she was not alone these days? - I wrote her a card greeting her and attached a little angel figure to the envelope, along with a pair of very small home-knitted socks. "May the little angel accompany you and make you healthy so that you can soon get back on your socks and come home." I quickly drove to the family's flat. She was just about to leave for the hospital. As I gave the greeting to the father, I saw deeply grateful eyes. A tear showed me: we are united in pain.
