Years ago she had taken part in the confirmation preparation in our parish. The contact had remained very loosely. Every morning she received the motto of the day by text message. In the meantime, she had successfully completed her professional training and was working as a policewoman in a city far from her home. Unexpectedly, I had to think of her. So I sent her a warm greeting via WhatsApp. A few moments later, a reply came. She let me know how happy she was that the contact had lasted beyond the confirmation. "And I want it to stay that way in the future! I get on really well with my colleagues. I receive the short impulses from the Gospel every day. I share them with all my colleagues at my workplace. That helps us a lot!
