On the phone, a convent sister tells me about a co-sister who is very psychologically burdened. Again and again she shouts at her other sisters and calls them "criminals". Life with her is hardly acceptable for many of them. "There's not much you can do with words. The only thing that helps is intense prayer!" I hear on the phone. "I have now left the chapel several times in the morning during the prayer of Lauds, because my fellow sister no longer comes to the chapel. I have sat silently in front of my fellow sister's locked room door and asked Jesus to reach her heart and give her peace. Three days ago something happened that we had not thought possible. The sick sister came to the chapel again. She stopped in the doorway, silent, then came to me and said softly, 'Thank you!'"
