Next to the missal was a small note with a name I did not know. I was told that this person had been taken from life quite suddenly and completely unexpectedly at the age of 56. His sister-in-law delivered the message. I felt how much this death touched her heart. So during the service she attended, I tried to relate the texts of the day to her situation and to share some experiences. After the service, she let me feel her gratitude. I felt her need to be allowed to share what she felt in her heart. Before my next scheduled appointment, I had two shopping errands to run. I postponed them in my mind until later and listened to her attentively. "Oh, how good it is to talk about all this and also to be able to express my fears. I hadn't found anyone to share this with before! From the very bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!"
