I was able to attend a very successful choir concert by my successor as church musician. After the concert, I went home full of joy. On the way, I wondered who was tidying up the church. I thought: If my successor has to do it alone, then tonight he'll learn to order a clean-up team in advance." Then the thought came to me that I had picked up on a retreat in the past few days: "God is speaking to you through your reality. Something has happened and is reaching you! It won't leave you cold!" I immediately turned around. The musician really was alone and gratefully accepted my help. We worked for an hour and a half. Then we had a beer. The joy in my heart made me understand: It's good that you turned back and helped.
