At 75 years old, our long-time friend has been busy once again: he repaired a floor lamp that had been broken, installed many lamps after a move, put up cupboards and then hauled away another large load of bulky waste. He doesn't have much money at his disposal. When we wanted to give him something in return, he just hugged us with a smile. He doesn't need many words. The kingdom of God sometimes comes quietly and unassumingly around the corner.
