After the Sunday service, some people were still waiting. I noticed a lean young man I didn't know yet, he waited until everyone else had left. He introduced himself. He had come from a Central Asian country and had been in our city with his wife for a month. He had found work and a flat as a qualified worker. He seemed very polite and sympathetic. Then he started to cry. The night before, he had knocked on neighbours' doors who had left their music playing very loudly. These neighbours were from an oriental country. Both belonged to the same religion. The neighbour asked immediately became abusive and threatened violence. "Do I have to call the police in Germany then? But then the situation will be even worse!" the young man asked me. "I didn't know what to do, that's why I came to the church!" Immediately I understood: this young couple needs another place to live. I prayed to Jesus, "Help me, because I have very little time and finding flats is hard at this time!" I called someone near whom a vacant flat had been seen. "I don't know anything about that!" he said. "But I am currently accompanying a family from Sir Lanka who have found a bigger flat due to two children and are giving up their old one. It totally suits a young couple and is in a quiet residential area! Don't worry, I'll take care of it.
