Last summer I led a dance workshop at a go4peace camp. In my group there were also some young guys from Ukraine. One of the boys in this group is going his way with Down syndrome. He particularly enjoyed the dancing. Last week, I went with my mother to the veterinarian in the town of the camp. As only a limited number of people were allowed into the surgery, I had to wait outside. I passed my time on my mobile phone and was completely focused on it. All of a sudden I heard, "Hello!" and who was standing in front of me? The young boy with Downs Syndrome! He smiled at me as only he can smile! He was so happy to see me again and took a high5 from me. That brought so much joy and love into my heart! Again I was able to experience anew: Give and you will be given! You always get something back when you have given something!
