During one of my last days of my holiday, I was able to visit the hospice of the Augustinian canons on the Simplon Pass in the Swiss mountains with a friend. We enjoyed a cappuccino in the bar up there. At the neighbouring table, two guests were talking to each other in Polish. The woman struck me with her friendliness. At the end, we said goodbye to each other in the pub and I smiled and said in Polish: ‘Do widzenia!’ - Goodbye’ - The woman smiled and we got talking. As the service lady had other duties, she asked us to leave the bar a little abruptly. I prayed in my heart: ‘Jesus, if you want, let's talk a little more outside!’ And so it came to pass. We found out that the Polish woman was a religious sister and was travelling with young people in the mountains. It turned out to be a very warm encounter. We exchanged contact details and parted with great joy in our hearts.
