Early in the morning, I went to a small bakery to buy seven bread rolls. ‘Can you buy eight, because it's on special offer?’ the friendly shop assistant, a Muslim woman, asked me. ‘Of course!’ I replied. When paying, I tried to count out the coins carefully. That took some time. She watched me calmly. When the money was on the counter, I let her know: ‘I believe that's exactly right. But please count it again!’ Her reply: ‘Oh, I believe it's right too! - ‘That means there are already two of us who believe it's true,’ I told her with a smile. As I said goodbye and wished her a happy new year, she said with a smile: ‘Thank you very much, the world belongs to those who believe!’
