A young Ukrainian woman, who had been our guest for a few days shortly before, wrote how difficult it is to remain at peace with the constant nightly drone attacks. She seemed very tired. ‘I can feel how much my soul needs the time off that I was able to have with you. I find peace and direction for my life in it.’ In a short WhatsApp message, I let her know that I am close to her. - A sister confides in me about a difficult situation in her community. I feel her wounds and her longing for clarification and peace. I also take her suffering deep into my heart and share this with her - I feel a world-wide connection, born from shared moments in which our hearts were on fire.
