In an email I read: ‘My daughter was called to the hospital and was waiting in a room outside the unit where I was being examined, surrounded by several deeply veiled women. One of these women asked my daughter if she would mind if they prayed for her own mother outside the unit. They all put their jackets and coats on the ground, knelt down and prayed. Afterwards, my daughter was asked why she was here. She said that she had come for me, her mother. Then everyone put their coats on the floor again and prayed, this time for me.
