In addition to all the aid projects for war zones, after the earthquake in Afghanistan we responded to a friend's request for help for needy people in the earthquake region. We had managed to raise a considerable sum of money. It was almost forgotten. This evening I received a message from our Afghan friend: "I received a few pictures today and wanted to say a warm thank you for your great support. In three villages, 500 families in the Afghan mountains have lost everything. With our help, we have really been able to give a sign of hope. My Afghan friend listed the families most in need and then distributed everything! We used the money to buy rice and oil for 100 families for a month. The people there are very happy that we did this. Thank you for everything!"
