Yesterday I was talking to my husband about our neighbours. In my opinion, they have cheekily just taken down our fence that separates our gardens and put a new one there, much higher. They had not informed us about this, and now our dog cannot go into the garden for a few days. That annoyed me. Sometimes when we have these conversations, my husband asks: What would Jesus do? Usually it becomes clearer and I know how futile such a grudge is. Yesterday, however, it wasn't. I was stuck in my displeasure. This morning I heard the morning impulse from go4peace: "Above all, love one another!" All of a sudden my thoughts changed. I could look at the whole situation with love. Everything became different. Looking at it with love, the new higher fence was a gain for all of us! Suddenly I was grateful to our neighbours for the work they had done without asking us to help or contribute to the funding. This made me start my day peacefuly.
