It was getting late. I had decided to go to bed earlier. One more message arrived on my mobile phone. Against my intention, I looked again and read: "Are you still awake?" It was a farmer from the village. A short time later I heard on the phone: "Our 89-year-old father has been missing for 4 hours. My brother and I have already searched the whole village and the surrounding area, but he is nowhere to be found. I don't know what we can do anymore." A desperate cry for help. I was totally touched and didn't hesitate for a second. "We'll help you in the search!" - "What? You'd really do that? But I think we've really been in all sorts of corners. I actually just wanted to share the whole thing with someone," I heard on the other end of the phone. "O.k. - Then I'll pray for your father now!" Twenty minutes later the phone rang again, "We found our father. He had arrived at a villager's house in the neighbouring village. He has let us know. THANK YOU for your prayer!" What a gift to be able to be so close to each other in sorrow and uncertainty.
