Emocionado

The bride's father from Argentina had also announced his attendance at the wedding. I knew that he did not speak German. He would not understand much during the liturgical ceremony. So it was important to me to dedicate a very personal moment to him. With the help of a translation programme, I prepared a short speech in Spanish. Right at the end of the sermon for the bride and groom, I addressed the father and read the words aloud. Deeply moved, he came up to me after the wedding ceremony and let me know that he felt deeply loved and welcomed. ‘Estoy muy emocionado. – I am very moved!’ he repeated several times. We said goodbye with a warm hug.
