Domino effect

I was on my way to Rajsko near Oswiecim with a small group of young people to take part in the 30th anniversary of a children's village there. We stopped at a service station just before the Polish border to use the toilets. Everyone received a voucher that could be used in the shop. When I asked the six young people if anyone else needed my voucher and they said no, the cashier, with whom I had paid my petrol bill shortly before and had joked a little bit, noticed and told me: ‘Come on!’ He then held out a chocolate stick to me and said: ‘It costs exactly the same as the voucher!’ Full of joy, I gratefully accepted the chocolate and gave it to one of the students who was standing next to me, which made her very happy.
